craziness. three fashion posts in a week? that’s unheard of for me.
But when sweet Cyndi messaged me and said that she was tossing around an idea to have a group of bloggers come together and post ideas for 2014 Spring trends on the first day of Spring, I knew I couldn’t resist.
And she rounded up some of the best!

I tossed around covering colors & pattern play, but opted for that in yesterdays post.
Instead I stayed to my tried and true: Black and White, with a dash of Basic Leopard.
It’s proving that it’s staying around for this season, by subtly adding in a few other colors, patterns and mixing metals.
Black and White is a constant in my closet, I may stray away for a few pieces, but I always go back to it.
And I totally dig the look of white jeans. Classic, Clean Lines, Trendy and Casual enough for Everyday, all year round.
Oversized, thin sweaters are some of my favorites. Girly enough, able to dress up or down and a great basic go-to piece.
You guys know my recent leopard obsession, here and here. I’m not a huge fan of it everywhere, but when added as a statement piece, it can be visually stunning. And it’s hanging around in the most fabulous ways this season.
We have three kids and we both have multiple jobs, so we are constantly running, and I mean literally running from place to place. I have a mad love affair with sneakers. Seriously, you would die if you saw them all. I couldn’t help but laugh when I read a recent article that said sneakers were ‘In’ for this season. Really? Haven’t they been since the invention of sneakers? Clearly we don’t stalk the same brands.
So when I stumbled upon these leopard slip-on’s, there wasn’t a question of if…it was of how fast they would land in my closet.
And the metals. Oh the metals.
How long was I hesitant on mixing them?? I adored Gold growing up, quickly switching to all silver for over 12 years, and now it’s all together.
Normally I would just opt for sliver when wearing Black and White, but now I wear a mixture, that is still trending, and it adds great texture and definition.
Add in a small linen clutch that I can carry alone or toss in a bigger bag and I am good to go!
