I haven’t posted in a couple days because of a little of this and a little of that…
We were getting in the last little bit of lake time, something we do every weekend, that we will have for while. About to take a cross country road trip (literally by the time we get back, we could of traveled the distance from coast to coast) for a dance competition, with a few peeps in tow…
We will be gone for a good little bit, needless to say, lots of blogging should come from it!
So can you blame me, with packing on the brain, that I almost forgot about Music Monday, eeek!!! It’s one of my fav’s!! How could I forget???
This week is one that brings back bunches and bunches of memories. Here is an oldie…and a newbie 😉
I was SO giddy when they came out with a new album, hope you enjoy!
On a side note, off the subject of music, while out at the lake the last weekend, a fire started because of a lighting strike.
We are in the worst drought in recorded history. We haven’t had rainfall since October. That’s just downright scary. Seems like there is a fire everyday and with record temps ranging from 105 to 113, it’s almost unbearable to leave and everything is brown and not green. Our area was banned from using fireworks this year for the Fourth of July. I asked my mom if she had ever remembered not being able to use them…she said no. In fact, she had asked her mom, my mema, if she remembered not being able to, and she said no also….she close to 90 years old. She said she can’t ever remember having fire like this. The upside? No mosquitos and very few flies ;). If you are they praying type, we would be extremely grateful if you send a few our way, thanks.
To many more,
