Crock Pot’s rule…just sayin’…..they rock, especially on uber busy days and they rock out twice when it is cold outside and you walk in to the yumminess.
This is from my mom, she gave it to me when we were first married, and I am still using it. That must mean it is awesome, right? The past few years I have started to double up on the veggies, added a bit more steak, and added potatoes which didn’t call for that originally.
1 carrot stick (I use 3 or so)
1 celery stick (ditto, ditto, ditto)
1/2 onion (umm, I totally used a whole one last time, sorry family. But see? Can’t mess it up)
2 cans tomato sauce (this stays the same)
Round Steak~Tenderized
2 Tbsp. flour with salt and pepper
Red potatoes, if wanted
Cut onion in slices, and layer in bottom of crock pot. Take the steak and dredge in flour, salt & pepper. Layer in crock pot. Cut up carrots and celery and put in. Pour in tomato sauce. Put in potatoes. Close lid, set on low for 8-10 hours.
Not the most appetizing picture, but it sure is yummy!
To many more,
A
