Last summer,
as we were headed on the long, cross country road trip
back from a dance competition in Myrtle Beach (is that a run-on sentence?),
We made a pit stop at the fabulous Biltmore…
Isn’t it fabulous??
I wonder how much they pay their yard boy….
Since we couldn’t take photos anywhere inside,
I captured what I could of the grounds.
Clearly I was overwhelmed with it all, considering the heat,
which resulted in spontaneous robot dancing…more than once.
Pure exhaustion at this point of a 10 day, 3300 mile road trip.
I think we giggled the whole way through the tour
Only to have the pre-teens eye roll at us, then disown us…
Anywho, moving on now.
Tiffany inspired wall garden…
It became obvious to us, the amount of humidity and lack of food
began to take it’s toll on the children, taking away all embarrassment
that they had of their mother figures
for a daunting five minutes….
One day, they will wake up with the scary realization that they have become their mothers.
Who’s is who’s, hmmm.
Thanks to Kelly & Abby at Oak House 5 for a side splitting trip!
Can’t wait to head West with you both in two weeks 😉
