this past summer, when I went to Haven, I finally got to meet up with Cyndi Spivey after messaging for a while. She had told me earlier about Stitch Fix, then filled in all the other details about it when we met in person.
Lord have mercy, where has this been all of my life?
I came home and went online and submitted all the forms, patiently waiting for the shipment and to post about it, to make sure it was reallllly something I was into. Seriously, I was like the lady in the Christmas tele ads, heavily breathing open open open on the front door.
And yes, I am so into this.
For those who don’t already know, and have been asking:
Stitch Fix is an online personal styling service. And is insanely easy.
ANY age, ANY size, ANY style. ANY.
Everything is mailed to you and you mail back anything or everything that you don’t want.
1. You create a style profile. Easy Peasy
They ask you questions, like height, sizes, how you prefer things to fit, yadda yadda. And to describe your personal style. There are a few questions and a few images that you can say wether you love, hate or just kinda like it.
How often you dress for certain occasions, if there is one you want to focus on, and anything to avoid.
And yes, they totally ask what your budget is. This is uber important to me!
They also ask if your are on pinterest, and if you are, they will check out your boards and see what you have been pinning. If not, no biggie.
2. Schedule your ‘fix’. You can set it up to come once a month, or just when you decided to log in and schedule one.
3. You receive your box of clothes on said day and you have three days to decided what you want, or if you want anything. This is really the great part. You don’t have to keep any of it, like at all. Pull it out, try it on and if you don’t dig it, put it in the pre-paid shipping bag and drop it off to head back to Stitch Fix, no questions asked. Keep what you love, and if you love it all, then you get 25% off of the total order.
They send you a price sheet of everything in your box and a fold out with ideas on how to style each piece.
4. Log back into your account and rate the items that they sent you. And schedule your next fix if you want to. Sometimes it takes a few times to hit the mark, other times they totally nail it. This time, I kept two items and am absolutely giddy about them.
And something that is HUGE?? You can actually earn credits when your friends want to do this.
Yup…when your friends get jealous because of your goods and they schedule a fix, you earn a $25 credit to use towards your purchase.
How you like them apples?
Here were my goods, with the blue pants.
gosh…..I love these pants. Skinnies, but not too skinny. Thin, lightweight. Heaven. In Pants.
