Materials:
Bolt of Tulle – Your choice of color
Large Sewing Needle and Matching Thread
Roll of Ribbon to tie around waist area
Leggings and Tank or Shirt to Wear Underneath
Directions:
1. Cut eight long pieces, depending on child’s height. Each piece needs to tie together at child’s shoulder, go across the body, and hit the leg mid-calf, similar to a long, full sash.
2. Take the ends of each piece, running diagonally behind child’s back and diagonally across the front and tie into a knot on child’s shoulder. Repeat so you have four knots on each shoulder, making sure each piece criss-crosses their body, again like a sash.
3. Carefully untie two knots at a time, and combine into one, so there is two knots per shoulder now. Run a needle with thread attached to secure the two knots together. Do this for each side.
4. Take your ribbon and tie a bow around the waist.
