As we are finishing up the last round of the Cricut Design Space Star, I wanted to tackle projects that I have been wanting to do for myself for a while š
This months theme is winter gear, and if you know me, you know that once the cold weather hits, you will hardly ever catch me without a scarf….ever. And a plaid scarf makes it that much better.
So when I ran across this plaid one at Target, I grabbed it and knew that I could use my cricut and cut out my deer silhouette that I used last year on Christmas pillows.
This literally took just a few minutes from start to finish!
Materials:
Flat PlaidĀ Scarf (not a cable knit or thick texture)
Iron On Vinyl
Cricut Machine
Iron
1. Import your image into the Design Space and set you machine to iron-on. Cut your image out with the cricut.
Weed out the excess vinyl, making sure to be extra carful. The antlers get super thin and can tear.
Fold the scarf in half, then in half again. Iron to make your surface flat.
2. Place you decal in the area you want it and, following the vinyl instructions, iron the decal on. Make sure it is all the way on the scarf before you pull the plastic off.
3. Let cool, smoothing out while it cools.
4. Wrap around your neck and enjoy!
