We started in Detroit again this year, traveling down The World’s Longest Yard Sale (Hwy 127) and ending in Atlanta with our good, ready to tackle the home. We shop from Thursday thru Saturday, make over the furniture from Saturday thru Sunday at lunch, reveal the entire home around 1:00 then head back to our own families shortly after. phew….
Head over HERE to read about our budgets for each space and what we do.
I loved loved loved this group we were with, as I do every year. And am always amazed with the work that we can accomplish in just a few days!
Here is my full space, as well as the other bloggers linked in below. Be sure and check out the time lapse video of the room coming together and the live video I posted to my Facebook page when the home owner was totally shocked that we were all inside. Her reactions are priceless!!

Live Home Reveal Video to the new Owner
My partner in crime for this trip was Courtney from French Country Cottage and was beyond giddy 🙂
I’ve traveled with her several times and was super excited to see her face. She tackled the laundry room and purchased a washer and dryer. She also was our mentor this time and you can catch a glimpse of her helping me assmble the bed.
Nancy from Artsy Chicks Rule had the girls bedroom
Christy from Confessions of a Serial Do It Yourselfer had the little boys bedroom
Nick and Sara from Nesters had the two living spaces
and Fadra from She Buys Cars had the kitchen and dining
I will be posting tutorials on the Painted Dresser, Turning A Full Size Bed Into A Queen and a round up of our trip next week!
Also, big thanks to Katlynn, Sean, Jasmine, our crew from GMC.
And a massive thanks, and virtual hug to our fearless leader, Megan from GMC, who organizes everything, feeds us, wipes our tears and holds bedframes on the wall while we drill in screws. All while wearing a cast on her foot.
You guys rock.
